About the Event

The Mule Day Auctioneers Championship (MDAC) is a premier "LIVE AUCTION" event that captures the high-energy excitement of professional bidding. Hosted by the Columbia Breakfast Rotary Club, 2025 marks the competition's 14th year of crowning a champion in the heart of Columbia, Tennessee.

This isn't just a demonstration; it is a sanctioned competition where professional auctioneers from across the nation travel to the Producers Livestock Sale Barn to test their skills. Known as one of the toughest championships to win in the Southeast, the event draws massive crowds who come to experience the rhythm, speed, and precision of world-class chants. Since its inception in April 2012, MDAC champions have gone on to win two World Livestock Auctioneer Championships and four International Pro and Junior titles.

Beyond the competition, the event serves a vital community purpose. The MDAC funds the Rotary Club’s College Scholarship Program, which has successfully awarded over $80,000.00 in scholarships to date.
